A game I developed for my master thesis. It’s a simple kart racer with emphasis on game feel with five different vehicles: car, tank, motorcycle, hovercraft and chainsaw.
I created this in order to test for some hypotheses regarding game feel and to find out what happens when mixing metaphors and polish with context and response. To have the most freedom, I decided to create everything myself, including the models, scripts and sounds.
Players got randomized vehicle-representation combinations to play and to rate on how fun they were.
